...you procrastinate on blogging all week...or you blog at odd hours just to procrastinate on sleep... :P
this week has been pretty good for procrastinating. i pulled an all-nighter to draft our post-mortem on the 440 monster on saturday/sunday...and have done shit-all since. of course the 440 monster will re-emerge in four months to bite us in the ass, but four months is still a good number of months away...
i was also supposed to get my ass on the bbq planning. that hasn't happened. (obviously). i have no clue why i volunteered to draft the funding proposal. especially when noah was rather willing to get suckered into it. :(
the FAS formal last friday was AWESOME!! i'm really glad my sfss "posse" decided to come along!! there are some amazing photos online, courtesy of the csss and cmnsu. you can check them out here and here. i'm particularly fond of this one, featuring one cmnsu president in a dance-off showdown! (i love the cmnsu president!! she's just so freakin' cool!) :P
i have even more amazing photos on my camera. many of those are from the crush after-party. they mostly involve a very drunken wimpy. some involve an equally drunken julie. i'd share them, except i'd have to stop procrastinating on my webspace hunting...poooo!!
the summer 2005 student orientation session is happening in 7.5 hours! there have been no requests for volunteers. but i suspect i'd be popping by, if only to heckle our wonderfully klutzy nu-MSO!! (and perhaps harass my new favorite peakie!!) :P

the art of procrastination...
it's 8:00am...and i have officially survived yet another 440-induced all-nighter!! we are demo-ing our project in 6 hours, and then it is on to the post-mortem!! (i suspect that it will be a post-mortem on the lucky one...who shall suffer an untimely...if not entirely tragic...demise should our project fail...)
we also have to test the device in the field at some point. we must analysis the act of falling. good thing i know of a possible test subject...one who have long perfected the fine art of falling... :P
the FAS formal is tomorrow!! i'm SO looking forward to it!! i may hate being an engineering student, but FAS rules (...and FASS drools)!!!
i should really stop procrastinating...
but then again...the act of procrastination is an art...and i happen to be rather good at it...
hee...
yeah...

bif naked is AMAZING!!
...and i'm so thrilled that i finally got to see her perform live!! this was at the supernova.com concert that i "volunteered" at last night. i wasn't overly productive on the volunteering front, but i did get to hang out with a couple of friends, and met a couple of really cool people as well. there were a TON of underage people at the event, which was a really weird experience. i can't remember the last event i went to where there was a beer garden...and no one in it!! (wait...i do remember...but we are not gonna talk about that...)
bif didn't take the stage until 11:45pm or so. the crowd had thinned out a bit by then, and i was able to squeeze right up close to the stage. i was within 10 feet of the stage for the whole set...and only got kicked in the head once. i nearly got bowled over a couple of times by some overly-bouncy 16-year-olds...but it was fun!! i spotted jason about 3 songs into the set. he was filming on his camera. i'm hoping he got some good shots. i can't wait to see his footage from this and the velvet revolver concert!!
right now i'm procrastinating on socializing with the monster that is my 440 project. i have to solve the mystery that is EAGLE, come up with some remotely intelligent things to say to the lucky one, and work on a post-mortem. (for those of you who have no clue what i'm talking about, let me assure you that the 440 monster is nowhere near as interesting as it may sound...)
it is now 02:51 pacific time...and none of the usual suspects are kicking around on MSN. this is SO strange. damn all these people that actually sleep through the early morning hours...
