post-election madness...

the provincial elections are over.

the federal elections aren't happening...at least for now.

gordo is still premier. paul martin is still prime minister. belinda stronach is now a liberal cabinet minister!!

isn't politics fascinating??

election day was crazy!! i spent the morning phoning up potential voters as part of the (non-partisan) rock the vote BC campaign. i spent the mid-afternoon planning a retreat...and shopping for toilet paper. i spent the late-afternoon breaking into apartment buildings...under the guise of volunteering for a (partisan) campaign. i spent the evening scrutineering the ballot count...and i got fed by a (taco)!!

afterwards we went to the big victory bash! it was shocking to see EVERYONE there. (well...maybe not THAT shocking...) we ran into mike bruce...and kT!! THAT was interesting.

i'm feeling less productive than usual. i'm also feeling completely anti-social.

i'm worried about the (taco). i sure hope she remains undrowned...
