i've been busy neglecting my blog for months, but i finally have news that's blog-worthy!!
i'm officially leaving the student society as of april 31, regardless of the outcome of the election count later today. xenia, chris, and lindsay are out. and last night's rulings have just about ensured that all other orange-flavored candidates are doomed at 7pm on march 25.
congratulations president hunsdale.

So, you're quitting. Even after you've run a genuine campaign and engendered the support of students who have put their faith in you versus the other candidates? And why? From what this message infers, because you don't like Shawn Hunsdale.
Pull yourself together, you're going to have to work with people you don't like in the future, might as well live up to the responsibilities you assumed and learn to deal with him now.
i'm definitely done with the student society, and it isn't just because i have zero respect for the incoming prez. i've devoted far too much time to the student society as it is, and i don't see much point in continuing to work with a team of people that i don't share a common vision with (with maybe 4 exceptions). i won't be able to pursue the projects that i signed up to do, and i can do a lot more for the students who supported me by working outside of the sfss.
i've got a better plan. you just gotta trust that for now!
